A BRIEF SPOTLIGHT ON AMB. PRINCESS ONYINYE GIFT UWAECHIA MON, JP, PhD., FOUNDER AND CEO, ONYINYEOMACHUKWU EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION
Ambassador Onyinye Gift Uwaechia, the chairperson and Founder of Onyinyeomachukwu Empowerment Foundation (OEF) is a distinguished United Nations Eminent Peace Ambassador, an academic Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a noble recipient of the national honours award of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), by the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Ambassador Onyinye Gift Uwaechia PhD is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for Hezekiah University, the foremost private tertiary institution in Imo state, Nigeria. She is a phenomenal global leader, a young achiever, and an indomitable lioness par excellence, specially consecrated and dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
Through her Empowerment foundation - OEF, she has imparted and empoweredover10,000livescomprisingtheyouths,theelderly,thedisabled, and the indigent in society, contributing significantly to the education and mentoring of targeted groups across the globe. Since 2016, an estimated sum of over N50 million has been invested by her foundation, towards the provision of pipe borne water, ultramodern classroom facilities, modern toilets, classroom learning and healthcare facilities, and other financial empowerment packages to rural and less-privileged communities, as part of her commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
For example, in 2016, she visited Fadan-Kamantan, Zango-Kartaf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, and donated relief materials and cash, worth millions of naira to the community. In addition, she sank a borehole for them and renovated their Community Primary School. Equally, in the same 2016, she also visited Abaji community and was received by the Ona of Abaji and his cabinet where she made cash and material donations to the community. Similar philanthropic gestures were equally extended to the less privileged persons at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria, in the same 2016 and beyond.
Princess Onyinyeomachukwu’s impact extends beyond her individual accomplishments, as she serves as an inspiration and role model to others, motivating them to strive for greatness and make a difference in the world. Her remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication to philanthropy and academia have rightfully earned her widespread acclaim and admiration.
